About Zak Sztor Nutritionist & Personal Trainer

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, I’ve always had a keen interest in exercise and I love challenging myself through fitness. Underlying that has also been my passion for food, not only in eating it, but in the process of preparing and sharing it with others.

 

After spending a few years travelling, my wife and I moved to Australia in the late 90s. With our two gorgeous girls, we now call Sydney home and life is busy and active. At home and work, I always aspire to be a good role model for my family.

 

In 2005, I became a qualified personal trainer and have worked all across Sydney, with great success. It didn’t take long for me to determine however, that many of my clients struggled to lose weight, no matter how hard they trained.

 

To further my education and broaden my horizons once again, in 2010 I began an Advanced Diploma in Nutrition Medicine at the Nature Care College in NSW. Five years later, I’m now registered with the Australia Traditional Medicine Society as a qualified Nutritionist.

 

 

Now, with over 12 years experience in the health and fitness industry, I have trained clients from all walks of life including post-op breast cancer patients, type 1 and type 2 diabetics, career minded professionals, post-natal mums and many who are simply time poor or lacking motivation.

 

I am an expert in weight management and preventative health, specializing in digestive orders such as IBS, leaky gut syndrome and coeliac disease, to name just a few. I am passionate about guiding my clients to reach their best health and I’m always updating my skills via online learning and workshops to stay on top of new research and health trends.

 

My own personal interest in fitness include triathlons (ocean swimming, running and cycling) and weight training, and next year Im planning to compete in my first Full-ironman event.
