Bondi Junction Sydney Nutritionist: Avocado & Toast
Bondi Junction Sydney Nutritionist- This is one of my simpler recipes; you don’t need any cooking skills, just a healthy appetite!
This recipe can be eaten any time of the day, and there is loads of health benefits too. Check them out:
- They contain more potassium than bananas which will help your blood pressure
- High in fibre which will help keep you regular
- Full of heart healthy monounsaturated fats
If you have never tried avocado on toast before then give it ago this week. I personally love this for breakfast at the weekends, after I have been out running. There is a simpler form, if you have not got time to smash up the avocado, just have it sliced with or without extra virgin olive oil.
In addition to being high in heart healthy fats, avocados have a little bit of protein in them, which can help keep you full and promote muscle growth.
