Nuts are rich in vitamin E, which can help may prevent free radical damage. They are a good source of protein and essential fats. However they are high in kilojoules so try and not go back for seconds. Sharing is caring!!
Ingredients For My Coconut & Almond Slice
Total Time: 10 minutes
- 1-cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- 1-cup raw almond
- 1-cup of raw cashew nuts
- ¼ cup of almond butter
- 3tbsp of honey
- 2-3 tbsp. on water
The Steps To Make My Coconut & Almond Slice
Step 1:Wash your hands.
Step 2:Place all the ingredients you need in front of you.
Step 3:In a 9 x 5 inch baking pan place unbleached baking paper and set aside.
Step 4:In a food processor place all the ingredients except the water
Step 5:pulse until crushed (If the mixture does not come out all formed add 1 tbsp. of water at a time, then pulse until mixture comes together)
Step 6:Place the mixture in the prepared baking pan and with a spatula press until it is uniform on all sides.
Step 7:Place in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Cut into squares and keep leftovers covered in the refrigerator.
