Bondi Junction Nutritionist- If you’re trying to loose weight, a serving of legumes will help you to feel full more quickly. They are a great source of fibre, which causes a slower rise in blood sugar levels, which should help you fight of hunger for longer and also give you a steady supply of energy.
Ingredients For My Guaca Hummus
- 1 can of chickpeas
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1 jalapeno
- 1 ripe fresh tomato
- ¼ cup of coriander
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of lime juice
The Steps To Make My Guaca Hummus
Step 1:Wash your hands.
Step 2:Place all the ingredients you need in front of you.
Step 3:Rinse and drain any canned beans
Step 4:Combine all of the ingredients (except tomato) in a food processor and blitz until smooth
Step 5:For a thinner consistency add 1 tablespoon of water at a time.
Step 6: Roughly chop up the tomato, then mix.
Step 7: Serve with some cut up free carrot, red or yellow capsicum’s
