Eastern Suburbs Sydney Nutritionist: Chicken Sweet Potato & Broccoli Pre Ironman Meal

Eastern Suburbs Sydney Nutritionist-This is a little bit of an insight into what my pre race nutrition looks like. It is nothing fancy, but it has the right amount of carbs proteins and fats needed to get me ready for race day. To be honest this has been the only nutrition I have eaten 3 days run up to event, so as to avoid any stomach issues on the day.

Ingredients For The Healthy Chicken Sweet Potato & Broccoli Recipe

  • Chicken: 120 grams
  • Sweet potato: 1.5 cups
  • 3-4 Broccoli florets
  • 0.5 tsp. of olive oil (extra virgin oil)
  • Master foods Thai seasoning
  • Masterfoods Moroccan seasoning

The Steps To Make My Healthy Chicken Sweet Potato & Broccoli Recipe

Step 1:Wash your hands.

Step 2:Place all the ingredients you need in front of you.

Step 3:Pre heat the oven on 150c

Step 4:Chop up sweet potato and season with season mix

Step 5:Place sweet potato in oven for 30-40 minutes

Step 6:Boil water a in kettle

Step 7:Lightly fry chicken in oil olive until cooked.

Step 8:Place boiled water on the stovetop, add broccoli and simmer for 3-4 minutes, then drain.

Step 9:Remove sweet potato from oven.

Step 10: Serve.
