Exercise of the Week ” Bridge with Resistance Band”

 

I really think from my 10 years of personal training experience this is one of the best exercises to start before any leg or glutes workout. Its great for getting your glutes fired up, this exercise builds muscle, boosts flexiblity and it is easily incorporated into any workout. Give it a go!

Tie a knot with the two ends of the resistance so it forms circle.Slot both feet into the centre of the band, then place the band around your knees as demonstrated in the image. Lie on your back with your feet on the floor, bending your knees to 90 degrees. Rise up with your hips until your shoulders, hips and knees align, contracting your glutes through the entire movement. Do 15 to 20 reps.
