Exercise of the Week “Plyometrics Box Jumps”

  • Stand in front of the box or stair or platform, with your back straight, shoulders rolled back and abs tight.
  • Squat and jump onto the box.
  • Drop jump back to the starting place.


Do you want to increase speed, power, whilst having a bit of fun and trying something different in the gym?

I really love box jumps as a part of my workout, some studies suggest  that when eccentric contraction is immediately followed by a concentric contraction of muscles, the results are that  you improve strength, stamina and agility.
