Randwick Nutritionist-Wow you gotta try my Healthy Gourmet Pizza Recipe “Beetroot and Goats Cheese” which i made on Friday night. This Healthy Gourmet Pizza Recipe Beetroot & Goats Cheese is one of my favourite friday night pizza’s, and the best thing  is it takes no time at all to make, and you don’t have to be a whizz in the kitchen. If it’s your first time preparing this, or you are not used to preparing food in the kitchen, the best advice i can give you is to have all the ingredients in from of you , and read the steps first before you start.

Randwick Nutritionist-Recipe Of The Week “Healthy Gourmet Pizza”

Ingredients For The Healthy Gourmet Pizza Recipe:

Serve 2

  • 1 x basic organic pizza base
  • 2 x handfuls of basil
  • 2 x handful of pine nuts
  • 1 x 50 gram of parmesan cheese
  • 1 x garlic bulb (chopped)
  • 50-80 ml of olive oil
  • 1 x beetroot
  • 1 x approx. 40g goats cheese
  • salt & pepper to taste

 

The Steps To Make My Healthy Gourmet Pizza Recipe:

Beetroot and Goats Cheese Pizza

Step 1:Wash your hands

Step 2:Place all the ingredients in front of you

Step 3:Put oven on to 150C

Step 4:Place basil, 1/2 pine nuts,chopped garlic,parmesan cheese, 50ml of olive oil in a food processor for 1-2 minutes or until a pizza sauce consistency is formed ( add more olive oil if neccessay)

Step 5:Finely slice enough beetroot to cover you pizza

Step 6:Break the goats cheese into little pieces then add to the topping

Step 7:Add the rest of the pine nuts over the entire pizza

Step 8:Place in oven for approx. 8 to 12 minutes

Step 9: Serve with a simple rocket and parmesan & balsamic vinegar salad or try my Beetroot Salad.
