Randwick Nutritionist:Healthy Breakfast Protein Shake

Randwick Nutritionist -This Healthy Breakfast Protein Shake recipes is one of my favourite breakfast’s of all time, and it takes no time at all to prepare. I typically make this for my breakfast most morning, because it is so quick, and easy to make. It may take a bit of time to organise, if it’s your first time you have prepared this espeically if your not used to making smoothies. Just following my simple steps will get you on the way to better health.

Ingredients For The Healthy Breakfast Protein Shake

1 serve

  • 1 small banana
  • 1 handful of spinach
  • 1 tsp of psyllium husk
  • 1 tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of raw oats
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • Approx 1/2 cup of  cold water
  • 1 scoop of quality vanilla whey or equivalent protein powder

The Steps To Make My Healthy Breakfast Protein Shake

Step 1: Take the cup form the blender and place to the side

Step 2: Unpeel the banana, and discard the skin in the bucket. With your hands break up the banana and place it into the cup.

Step 3: Take 1 handful of  fresh spinach and push it into the cup

Step 4: Pour in 1/2 cup of cold water into the cup.

Step 5: Add the apple cider vinegar, psyllium husk, raw oats, cinnamon and vanilla protein to the cup.

Step 6: Screw the head of the blender on tight, place the cup and attached head to the motor and blitz for approximately 20-30 seconds or until the smoothie/shake is smooth to drink. If it is to thick add a little bit more water.

Step 7: I personally drink the shake straight away, otherwise it may get to thick to drink because the  psyllium husk expands

Step 8: Enjoy!
