Randwick Nutritionist:Healthy Breakfast Muffins

Randwick Nutritionist- My Healthy Breakfast Muffins can be used as a meal or snack. Homemade snacks provide a great opportunity to improve the quality of your diet.Foods rich in carbohydrates proteins and fats helps your body meet its  recommended intake levels of nutrients and food group servings.

When you eat food your blood sugar levels rise and then decrease. Soon after you  can start to feel tired if your blood sugar levels get too low.

Just a note snacks can prevent your blood sugar levels from dropping too much between meals. While sugary snacks can lead to sugar highs and subsequent energy crashes, healthy snacks promote more sustained blood sugar levels and energy.

High-fiber, high-protein snacks, such as carrots with hummus dip, are slow to digest so your blood sugar levels do not fluctuate much.

Eating your carbohydrates,protein and fats within 45-60 minutes of finishing your exercise session will promote the best results.

Ingredients For The Healthy Breakfast Muffins Recipe:

  • 6 whole eggs
  • 4 egg whites
  • 6 cherry tomatoes sliced finely
  • 1 garlic clove sliced finely
  • 1 handful of spinach sliced finely
  • 1 tsp of chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste

The Steps To Make My Healthy Breakfast Muffins Recipe:

Step One: Wash your hands

Step Two:Pre heat oven to 180 degrees C.

Step Three:Add all the ingredients into a jug, and mix well with a fork.

Step Four:Grease a muffin tray with butter, so the muffins don’t stick to the tray.

Step Five:Pour the mixture evenly into the muffin tray.

Step Six:Then place the muffin tray in the oven for approx. 15 mins.

Step Seven:Remove muffins from the oven, and let cool for a few minutes before eating.
